not only get the effeminate stereotype but also stereotypes
surrounding their race. Let’s take a step back and see the world
through our fellow gays. Join us for a discussion about the double
stereotypes faced by the various members of our community.

Sunday, Aug. 10, to Jones Beach

Join the boys of GAPIMNY for fun in the sun and surf at Jones Beach State Park on the first beach outing of 2008!

We’re going by public transportation. Take the Long Island Railroad to Freeport ($7 each way from Penn Station or Flatbush or $4.75 each way from Jamaica).

Leave Penn Station 12:39pm, OR Leave Flatbush Ave 12:03pm (change trains at Jamaica for the 1:05pm train to Freeport), arrive at Freeport 1:27pm.

FROM Freeport, Take Bus M88 from Freeport to Jones Beach ($2, Metro Cards accepted). meet at the East Bathhouse. (If you miss the train, there is one about every 30minutes. Once at Jones beach, walk east, or left when facing the water).

GAPIMNY joins with TLA Releasing to present Hot Gay Films.

SYNOPSIS:
Bangkok Love Story is a story of two very different young men who circumstances pitched them together. Will they end up friends, enemies or lovers?

“Maek” (Rattanaballang Tohssawat) is an assaSsin assigned to take out “Iht” (Chaiwat Tongsaeng) , but a twist of fate bring them together when Maek refuse to kill Iht and in the gunfight took a bullet. Iht helps Maek back to a safe house where Iht nursed him back to health. A bond begins to develop between the two as Maek recovers and the bond turns into something deeper and yearnings stir from deep in their hearts. Maek is confused; he can’t afford to love let alone ones like these. He tries to run but Iht is not about to give up. Maek goes back to his handler to solve the problems, while Iht backed him up without Maek’s knowing and they end up in a big gun fight.
