Join GAPIMNY in the NYC Premiere of Ray Yeung’s first feature “Cut Sleeve Boys.” Ray Yeung also directed ‘Yellow Fever’ which won the Audience Award in Madrid Lesbian and Gay Film Festival.
The first “Latin/Asian” Event for Gay, Bisexual, Queer-Identified Latino and Asian/Pacific Islander Men and their Friends. Drink specials and free BBQ.

Depends on the number of available cars, early RSVP’ed people will have the option of catch a ride, sharing gas, and parking fees ($10).
Rainday: If the weatherforcast on Friday morning (aug 24) predicts 40% chance of rain, we will cancel the trip.

Safeparties will provide free rides home to partygoers living in certain Brooklyn neighborhoods or will provide volunteers to walk groups to nearby public transportation!

Directions to Picnic site:
The Picnic will be held in Prospect Park, near the Picnic House, in Long Meadow
North (the Picnic House is listed on all park maps). The entrance to Long
Meadow North is on Prospect Park West & 5th Street. Â There are 2 ways to get
there.
Take the F train to the 7th Ave./9th St. Station. Â Walk up 9th Street to
Prospect Park West and turn left. Â Walk down Prospect Park West to the 5th St.
park entrance.
OR
Take the 2 or 3 train to Grand Army Plaza. Â When facing the park, Prospect Park
West is on the right side of the park. Â Walk down Prospect Park West to the 5th
St. entrance. Â Expect to walk 6-7 blocks.
Go through the 5th Street park entrance and follow the chalk arrows on the
pavement to the picnic site.

Ranging from paternalism to age differences in relationships, how does perceptions of age affect the gay Asian community? Come to share with, meet, and discuss with fellow members as we delve in the often unspoken topic of age in our community. All ages are welcome. The meeting will be facilitated by Terrence and Daniel, the coordinators of GAPIMNY’s upcoming young adult group, DowneTime.
